Ewor House is proudly family-owned and operated by locals who have spent a lifetime surrounded by animals — from the feathered to the furry, and a few farmyard friends in between. With over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes, you could say looking after animals is just part of who we are.
We’ve shared our lives with ducks, sheep, cows, cats, birds, and chooks — and right now, our hearts (and backyard) belong to:
🐶 Oreo & Pippin – our cheeky miniature poodle x chihuahuas
🐾 Alfie – our royal miniature dachshund with a big personality
🐔 Saffron, Lockie & Val – our three very spoilt backyard chickens
Based in sunny Cairns, we know how important it is to have someone you trust to care for your pets — someone who treats them like family. That’s exactly what we do. Whether it’s daily walks, overnight stays, enrichment visits, or feeding the flock while you’re away, your pets will be in safe, loving, and experienced hands.
